Inside the village Church in Castle Bytham, Lincolnshire. This was on a visit to my ex’s parents house there a while back. They were snobby, vile, opinionated bigheaded berks and I hated going as I’m more down to earth….what they’d probably call a peasant! I’m far too laid back to be poncing about like they did.
Although it was a lovely village, it was one of those places that could appear in a murder mystery film. Everyone knew each other, their comings and goings. Man, there was even a monthly village newsletter to tell everyone who’d moved where, who’d left, who’d had an affair and who was baking the cake at the annual knitting gala.
Since I was graced with the good fortune to part with the old bat, the ex is now affectionately called ‘horse-features’. This is opposed to the ex before that who is termed ‘ferret-features’ and my current girlfriend’s ex who is ‘camel-features’.
Don’t get confused because I’ll be asking questions later.
Just thought you’d like to know that nugget of information.
Any road up, the village was quite picturesque including the Church and grounds but I very much doubt I’ll be going back any time soon!
